Can you do anything to PREVENT a miscarriage?

I'm 4 weeks with my second child, first pregnancy was good, just some sickness and hypertension in the last weeks, no complications. Is there anything you can do to prevent a miscarriage? I'm 23 and i've seen so many people miscarry lately and I don't know how I'd deal with that! Thanks ladies!
