Beef jerky problem. help here?

I love beef jerky. the problem is that i have braces and some pieces in beef jerky is tough and i have to feed the tough pieces to my dog(he loves meat obviously). what brand is soft enough (must be in south florida stores) for me to eat and have good taste and not have that bloody taste?
