Am I becoming addicted?

I recently had rather extensive oral surgery. A sinus cyst removed, 2 torus removed and about 25 stiches left in place. So needless to say I was in quite a bit of pain. Now the question comes to my mind since I have such a addictive personality, the surgeon had put me on percocet for pain control, I am currently taking about 1/2 to 1 pill a day to control the pain. Can I become addicted in such a short period of time. I have been on them for about a week now. I dont take them every 4 hrs but just when there is breakthru pain. Problem is I am becoming very comfortable with the way they make me feel and I could see taking them a lot more.
