Is it bad to take a percocet after smoking hookah?

I have an auto immune disorder so I have bad pain. I was just smoking hookah with some friends and I'm in pain. Is it a bad idea to take the percocet? I know not to mix percocet and alcohol, but not sure about this one. I probably sound stupid. I'm not a frequent smoker.
