I dont know if i miscarried or not?

I had unprotected sex about 2 months ago. For a while I was having pregnancy symptoms but they stopped roughly 2 weeks ago. Today I woke up with a very heavy period (though it wasn't due for a couple weeks) and severe cramps. Id had a period 2 or so weeks back so I'm not sure exactly what's happening. Could I have been pregnant and miscarries? I had smoked and drank in the months that followed the unprotected sex.
