Can you be addicted if you never get high?

You are not addicted physically to any drugs now but your still an addict (mentally). You are not going out and committing crimes because you know it's wrong but if you did have money you'd spend it on drugs. Your simply an addict. My suggestion is opening up a phone book and look up the nearest NA meeting in your area. You're not alone; keep going back and remember, it works if you work it.
